Question 1

What are the best Empires and Puzzles dragons right now?

Accepted Answer

The strongest Empires and Puzzles dragons can change as new dragons are released, balance changes arrive, and more players submit votes. Dragon Clash provides a live community ranking based on head-to-head results, helping you see which dragons are currently earning the most support.

Question 2

How are Dragon Clash rankings calculated?

Accepted Answer

Dragon Clash rankings use a Glicko rating system built from community head-to-head votes. Each matchup updates the ratings of both dragons, so the leaderboard continuously reflects the results of player comparisons rather than a single editorial opinion.

Question 3

How do head-to-head dragon votes affect the rankings?

Accepted Answer

When you choose one dragon over another, the winning dragon gains rating strength and the losing dragon is adjusted in the opposite direction. Repeated matchups gradually reveal which dragons the community prefers across the wider Dragon Clash field.

Question 4

What does it mean when a dragon wins a Dragon Clash matchup?

Accepted Answer

A win means the community currently prefers that dragon for overall usefulness, power, versatility, and impact in Dawn of the Dragons content. It is a community comparison, not a guarantee that one dragon is best for every team, mode, or strategy.

Question 5

How often are Dragon Clash ratings and rankings updated?

Accepted Answer

Dragon Clash is designed as a live ranking system. New community votes and newly available dragon data can change ratings over time, and the rankings are refreshed continuously so the leaderboard keeps up with the evolving dragon meta.

Question 6

Can I filter Dragon Clash matchups by rarity and element?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Before starting a Dragon Clash session, you can choose which rarities participate—Rare, Epic, and Legendary—and optionally filter the matchup pool by dragon element. This lets you compare a more focused group instead of the entire dragon collection.

Question 7

What filters are available in the Dragon Clash rankings?

Accepted Answer

The rankings can be narrowed by dragon name, rarity, element, source, spirit class, dragon type, mana speed, passive ability, and release date range. These filters make it easier to compare dragons within a specific collection, role, or part of the game.

Question 8

What is the difference between Local Rank and Global Rank in Dragon Clash?

Accepted Answer

Global Rank is a dragon’s position across the full Dragon Clash leaderboard. Local Rank is its position inside your currently filtered results, such as among Legendary dragons or dragons from a selected source. Both numbers are shown when filters are active so you can compare focused and overall standing.

Question 9

What does the Provisional badge mean on a dragon?

Accepted Answer

A Provisional badge means the dragon has fewer than 15 recorded community votes. Its rating is useful as an early signal, but more matchups are needed before the result becomes a stable measure of community consensus.

Question 10

How do the Dragon Clash badges such as Overpowered, Strong, Balanced, Weak, and Avoid work?

Accepted Answer

After a dragon has enough votes to move beyond Provisional status, its badge compares the community rating with a normalized baseline derived from the dragon’s normal in-game power. Dragons performing substantially above that baseline can receive Overpowered or Strong, close results are Balanced, and substantially lower results are marked Weak or Avoid.

Question 11

Are Dragon Clash rankings separate from Hero Clash?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dragon Clash has its own dragon ratings, votes, rankings, feed, history, and progression. Dragon votes do not change Hero Clash rankings, and hero votes do not change the Dragon Clash leaderboard.

Question 12

Can I track my Dragon Clash votes and community activity?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dragon Clash includes personal progression and battle history, plus a live community feed showing recent dragon matchups. Signing in lets you preserve personal statistics and history across sessions.
