Frequently Asked Questions
Q:What is the Visiting Outfitter event in Empires & Puzzles?
The Visiting Outfitter is a recurring event that lets you spend gems to obtain the oldest missing costume for an eligible hero. It guarantees a specific costume rather than random summoning, making it a targeted way to power up your heroes.
Q:How much does the Visiting Outfitter cost?
Costs vary by hero rarity: Rare (3★) heroes cost fewer gems, while Legendary (5★) heroes cost more. The gem price also depends on how many costumes the hero already has. Check the Hero Database for exact pricing per hero.
Q:Which heroes are eligible for Visiting Outfitter?
Heroes must have at least one unreleased costume that you do not own. The event gives you the oldest missing costume for the hero. Heroes with all costumes already collected are not eligible.
Q:Are costumes worth getting in Empires & Puzzles?
Yes, costumes provide a permanent +5% stat bonus per costume (stackable up to +20%). They also give alternate skills and appearances. Even if you prefer the original skill, the stat bonus makes costumes valuable for all heroes. Use the Hero Coach to find the best costume for your heroes.
