Phenexa is a legendary Fire healer from the Challenge Festival II event, originally released in late 2022. While she might look like a whimsical bard ready to strum a tune at your local tavern, she hides one of the most mechanically broken abilities in the game: the power to reset time—at least for buffs. Analysis: This skill is the reason you use Phenexa. It does four things, but two of them are game-changers:

1. 42% Heal: A solid "Average" speed heal. Nothing fancy, but reliable.
2. Buff Duration Reset: This is the crown jewel. When she fires, all active buffs on all allies have their duration reset to the maximum. If Ludwig has 1 turn of Taunt left, boom—he's back to 6 turns. If your team has 1 turn of Dodge left, it resets to full duration.
3. +50% Attack & +30% Critical Chance: This combination is a titan-slayer's dream. The Critical Chance specifically is massive for tile damage, making her a staple in high-score titan teams and Challenge Events.

Important Note: The reset mechanic applies to buffs. It does not reset stacks or other non-buff positive effects.

• The members of this family have additional perks in the Challenge Festival events.

The Bard Family bonus is unique because it rewards you for not stacking family members. If Phenexa is your only Bard, she gets +5% mana generation. This is excellent for helping her charge slightly faster, which is critical since you want her to fire after your other heroes have cast their buffs but before those buffs expire.

Defense Up: At the start of battle, she gets a defense buff. Given her outdated stats, this is actually quite useful to help her survive the opening turns before she can get her heal off.

Legacy & Modern Relevance

• Historical Context: Upon release, Phenexa was an immediate chase hero. The "Ludwig + Phenexa" combo became legendary for creating near-invincible teams in Rush Wars and PvE events. She was also an instant upgrade over Boldtusk for Titan teams.
• Power Creep Analysis: Her stats have been left in the dust. She is fragile. However, her utility has not been power-crept. No other hero offers the same combination of reliable healing, critical boost, and a universal buff reset on a Red hero.
• Modern Viability Verdict: High Utility, High Risk. She is still perfectly viable in offense, Titans, and specific PvE modes. In modern competitive defense teams, she is too squishy and slow. But in the hands of a player who knows how to time her skill, she remains a top-tier offensive tool.
