Question 1

What are the best Empires and Puzzles heroes right now?

Accepted Answer

The best Empires and Puzzles heroes constantly shift with new events and balance updates. The Empuzzled Hero Clash tier list is powered by real-time community votes, giving you an accurate, up-to-date ranking of the strongest legendary, epic, and rare heroes in the current meta.

Question 2

How is the Empires & Puzzles hero tier list and rankings determined?

Accepted Answer

Our community rankings are built using a robust ELO rating system. Thousands of players participate in continuous 1v1 "Clash" matchups. Every duel shifts the leaderboard, ensuring our grading reflects true hero power and player consensus rather than a single player's opinion.

Question 3

How often are the hero ratings and grades updated?

Accepted Answer

The Empires and Puzzles hero rankings update every single hour. As new heroes drop or the meta shifts during Wars and Tournaments, your votes instantly impact the global master tier list.

Question 4

Should I grade heroes based on their base form or with costume and limit breaks?

Accepted Answer

For the most accurate comparisons, you should always assume max power. Evaluate both heroes at their absolute peak potential, including maximum ascension, limit breaks (LB1 & LB2), and full costume bonuses.

Question 5

Can I filter the tier list to find the best 4-star or 3-star heroes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! On the dedicated Rankings page, you can easily filter the community tier list by rarity, element, and hero class. This makes it simple to locate the best 3-star heroes for tournaments or the best 4-star options for events.

Question 6

What is the difference between Local Rank and Global Rank in Search Results?

Accepted Answer

Local Rank refers to a hero's position within your current active filters (e.g., 1st among 4-star Fire heroes). Global Rank shows their absolute standing against all 1,750+ heroes in the game. This dual ranking helps you see both who is the absolute strongest, and who is the best in their specific niche.

Question 7

How do the hero ratings like Overpowered, Strong, Balanced, Weak, and Avoid work?

Accepted Answer

The efficiency badges (Overpowered to Avoid) compare a hero's community-voted ELO rating against their raw in-game max power stat. If a hero is winning way more matchups than their raw stats suggest, they are rated 'Overpowered', or 'Strong'. If their ELO matches their stats, they are 'Balanced'. The worst performers score 'Weak' or 'Avoid'. Heroes with too few votes or high rating uncertainty are marked as 'Provisional'.

Question 8

What does the 'Provisional' badge mean on some heroes?

Accepted Answer

A 'Provisional' badge indicates that a hero has fewer than 15 community votes or still has high Glicko rating uncertainty. While their rating is seeded by their raw power, it requires more informative matches to reach a stable and highly accurate consensus.
